Italian journalist Rudy Galetti today shares some news on Tottenham Hotspur’s hunt for a new manager.

First of all, it’s claimed there’s a ‘good chance’ that Spurs will have Cristian Stellini in charge of the team at least until the end of the season.

Then Galetti talks about the names on Tottenham’s list.

Mauricio Pochettino is said to be high positioned, but he’s claimed to be waiting for Carlo Ancelotti’s situation at Real Madrid to develop just so he knows whether he’d have a chance of taking his job at the La Liga giants.

This situation is said to be causing a ‘stalemate’ between Spurs and their old coach, which is why other managers such as Luciano Spaletti and Ruben Amorim are said to be ‘monitored’.

Regarding the Napoli boss, there’s a ‘strong doubt’ about his contract renewal with the Serie A side in the summer, but Galetti actually talks more about the Sporting coach, as the Lions’ chief has a release clause in his contract and could be signed at any moment.

The report claims Amorim is the ‘name of reference’ Tottenham have for the next season because of his tactics and the composition of Spurs’ squad.

But with the report claiming the club are taking this situation calmly, we shouldn’t expect big news in the coming weeks.
