Oliver Glasner ‘already has in mind’ the players he wants to sign for Crystal Palace this summer, with the focus now firmly on next season.
That’s according to Austrian journalist Peter Linden, who covers the Crystal Palace manager today as he enjoys success at Selhurst Park.
The journalist reports that while Glasner is very much celebrating their recent success, including the impressive 4-0 win over Manchester United, he is very much taking a sober stance on matters.
He insisted after that game that there is still a lot to improve at the club, despite their recent impressive results and the performances to go with them.
The big question ahead of the summer is whether they can keep hold of talents such as Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise and Linden insists those would only be sold for ‘correspondingly high’ fees.
At the moment the club are planning with them and Glasner ‘certainly already has in mind’ what he would like to change in terms of personnel for the coming season.
One of those names could be Maxence Lacroix, who he worked with at Wolfsburg and has been linked to in recent weeks.
Linden doesn’t confirm that interest but does insist that Glasner is already at work, eyeing transfers for Crystal Palace to help him build on what has been a very positive start to life at the club.
