Arriving from Austria Vienna in 2017, Udinese’s Jens Stryger Larsen has been a key member of the Serie A side for the past four years.

The Dane has made 140 appearances for the club over the past four years, including 35 this season, and yet his future could be at Watford.

That’s what local newspaper Messaggero Veneto are reporting on Wednesday as they explain that ‘Larsen has a contract expiring in 2022 and therefore could extend more easily with the English ‘parameters’.”

The Serie A side expect to use Nahuel Molina for the right midfielder role, and the Dane’s exit will give them a need down the left, where he played from the end of February onwards.

In fact, ‘there is already an agreement’ between the Hornets and the Denmark international, who will ‘address the topic’ via his agency in ‘the next few weeks’.

Larsen is said to be ‘ready to play in the Premier League’, as ‘Gino Pozzo should transfer the Dane to London’.

Something to keep an eye on as Watford start their strengthening to avoid finding themselves in a relegation scrap next season.
