Watford have not yet made a decision over what to do about Mileta Rajović in the winter market.

That’s according to Watford owner Gino Pozzo and he revealed this during an interview with Tipsbladet.

Watford signed the 25-year-old from Swedish side Kalmar FF in August 2023 and gave him a contract until 2028.

The striker scored 14 goals from 48 matches in all competitions in his debut season for the Championship side. Despite this, the Hornets allowed him to join Brøndby IF on a season-long loan deal late in the summer window.

According to Tipsbladet, Tom Cleverley’s side have an option to cut short his temporary stay at the Danish club in January.

It’s claimed Brøndby have no clarity on whether the Watford owned player will continue in the second half of the season or should they look for a new striker next month.

Pozzo says the English club are pleased with the frontman’s development at Brøndby and they have yet to make a final decision on whether or not to recall him in January.

“Of course, we follow Mileta’s development closely and we’re very happy with his performances. He is a very skilful player. We have not yet made a decision about January, because we want to keep our options open,” he said.

Rajović has scored six goals and registered an assist from 12 games for Brøndby this season.
