Inter Milan managing to agree the signing of Cedric Soares for a loan fee of less than €1m, and an optional buying clause of €10m, both according to Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday, may well be giving other Italian clubs ideas.
Throughout the window there have been several Serie A attempts to sign Premier league players for what seems to be below market value, and some cheeky approaches suggested.
Gerard Deulofeu and AC Milan may fall into that bracket.
Friday’s edition of Tuttosport claims that signing Deulofeu is Milan’s latest idea, which is absolutely possible because the club seem to go through many each window.
The plan would be to contact Watford and see if they’d be up for a loan deal, and also a summer buying option.
Deulofeu is certainly a used member of Javi Gracia’s squad and letting him go so soon after getting the permanent move wouldn’t make a great deal of sense, especially on a transfer which would be weighted in Milan’s favour.
