It’s now confirmed that Galatasaray star Hakim Ziyech will not be able to face Manchester United in their Champions League clash on Tuesday evening.
With the attacker recovering from an injury, he’d been training separately from the squad, and was their last doubt before the trip to England.
Now as Galatasaray released the list of players who’ll be available to face Manchester United (via Asist Analiz), Ziyech is not in there.
The Chelsea loanee had made three appearances for the Istanbul club this season, getting a goal and an assist, but ended up injured on the 23rd of September.
With Manchester United missing out on so many players due to injury, that can probably be seen as a minor issue for Galatasaray, who have other stars still available.
The Turkish side continue with many attackers who are well known in European football, such as Mauro Icardi, Dries Mertens and Wilfried Zaha.
Following a draw against Copenhagen in the first fixture, Galatasaray have one point, while Manchester United are at bottom of Group A after the defeat to Bayern Munich.
