Galatasaray have released a statement in the past few hours with regards to Stoke City target Badou Nidaye.

The Turkish side’s statement comes after the player was left out of today’s game with Osmanlıspor, after reports he has asked for a move to the Premier League.

Sporx have reported on comments made by Galatasaray with regards to Ndiaye: “We have received important proposals from foreign clubs. These proposals have left Ndiaye confused.”

It’s been reported Ndiaye’s future will be sorted out in the coming days, and the general concensus in the Turkish media is that the 27 year old will be heading to Stoke City in this window.

The Premier League side recently offered €16m for the Senegal international, and there have been claims in Turkey Galatasaray will sell for €18m.

Stoke City will now have to act quickly with the deadline getting closer, but a deal seems a real possibility.
