Is it his ankle, or is it his foot? Will he be out for a week or so, or is this looking more like a month or even longer?
Claims on Paul Pogba’s current injury situation have been conflicting over the past few days, as Manchester United, and the French national team, seem to be unsure how long their player will be out of action for.
There also appears to be some confusion over what the injury actually is, and Thursday’s edition of L’Equipe reports that ‘only future tests may determine’ how long the midfielder will be unavailable for.
It’s considered as pretty certain he’s out of the next international break for France, but while that convenient rest will be welcome at Manchester United, there’s no certainty Pogba will be fit to play soon afterwards.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will surely be quizzed about the situation during his weekly press conference, with some clarity on Pogba needed if only to stop the rumour mill from getting carried away.
