As Fulham continue to try and improve their squad this summer, they have taken to following the route of many other clubs and looked in South America.
The Craven Cottage side, according to TuttoMercatoWeb, are now going after a young midfielder currently contracted to Racing Club called Juan Ignacio Nardoni.
The website explain that Fulham are ‘seriously thinking’ about the 21-year-old, who has already ‘attracted the interest of many teams’.
However, few have been as persistent as Marco Silva’s side, as they are said to have ‘shown the most interest’ out of all the clubs to have come forward.
In fact, Fulham have ‘already informed both the club and the player’s entourage’ of the start of negotiations for a transfer, which TuttoMercatoWeb reckon could start ‘in the coming days’.
Despite being in South America, the Argentine side know of the financial power of Premier League sides, and that’s why they are said to value their young midfielder at ‘around €25m’.
This means Fulham will have to dig deep in their pockets if they are to get the player this summer.
