Fulham are looking to strengthen their midfield by signing Fluminense’s André Trindade this summer.
Last week, Fluminense president Mário Bittencourt said his side made a counter-offer after Fulham made a bid for the 23-year-old.
Bittencourt also insisted that it’s normal for the player to negotiate personal terms with Fulham, even though a deal hasn’t been agreed between the two clubs.
The Premier League side are pushing ahead in their pursuit of André, according to Goal in Brazil.
In other words, the two teams have reached an agreement, and the parties involved in the operation are working to sort out the ‘final details’.
Goal provide no information of what these details are, but it may be sorted out soon. According to the report, the Brazil international is set to sign a five-year deal with Marco Silva’s side.
If the South American completes a move to Fulham for £25m, it will be a club-record sale for Fluminense, surpassing the €18.6m [£15.7m] they earned from Gerson’s sale to AS Roma in 2016.
