According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fulham are showing an interest in Besiktas youngster Mustafa Hekimoğlu.
The 17-year-old forward has impressed in Besiktas’ youth system which has brought him to the attention of the Premier League club.
Aksam today claim Fulham are closely watching Hekimoğlu and could soon be knocking on the door to sign the youngster. The Turkish media outlet say the English club have been following the attacker for a considerable time and they are preparing an ‘official offer’.
In recent weeks Fulahm have also been linked with Hekimoğlu’s Besiktas teammate Semih Kılıçsoy following reports they were lining up an offer for the 18-year-old.
The Turkish international impressed last season for the Super Lig club and this has brought him to the attention of a number of Premier League clubs, including Fulham.
We covered reports from Turkey that the west London club have already made contact for Kılıçsoy and now it seems they may also step up their pursuit of Hekimoğlu.
Hekimoğlu has yet to cement a place in Besiktas first team, but last season he made a brief appearances in the Turkish Cup and in the Conference League. He’s contracted to the Black Eagles until June 2027.
