Turkish newspaper Milliyet claim that Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri has rejected the chance to join French side Lyon, as he’s only interested in re-signing for Galatasaray.
Yesterday we covered reports that Gala were in talks with Fulham and the player’s entourage with regards to a loan return to the Super Lig. However, it was also claimed the English club want to sell him on a permanent deal.
It’s now reported the Premier League side are expected to let Seri leave on loan, and Galatasaray are patiently waiting on their decision.
The Turkish side have only €925K to spend for incoming transfers because of FFP, and Milliyet say they are ready to use this to fund Seri’s transfer.
Seri has yet to feature for Scott Parker’s side in the Premier League this season and his only appearance came in the Carabao Cup.
The 29 year old spent last season on loan with Galatasaray where he made 37 appearances and scored two goals. Seri’s contract at Craven Cottage will expire at the end of June 2022.
