Hurriyet have exclusively reported Galatasaray have reached an agreement to sign Fulham’s Ryan Babel and the winger will join the Istanbul club at the end of the season.

The Fulham attacker has reportedly rejected lucrative offers from Qatar and China in order to get a return to the Turkish Super Lig. Babel had a spell with Besiktas before his move to Fulham in the last transfer window.

The Turkish newspaper also reports Babel had admirers from England but the offers he received from Premier League sides were not as strong as Galatasaray’s proposal.

Babel will reportedly earn €2.5m per year for two seasons with Gala, including a €2.2m signing on fee.

It’s likely the 32-year-old will play his last game for Fulham at the weekend when the London club face Newcastle United at Craven Cottage.

The Dutch international has made 15 appearances for Fulham this season and scored 5 goals.

However, he was unable to help Fulham avoid the drop to the Championship after just one season back in the top flight.
