Fulham’s Joachim Andersen has been included in AC Milan’s target list for the summer window.

That’s according to MilanLive.it, who state the Serie A side have looked at the centre-back in the past.

Andersen was at Sampdoria between 2016 and 2019, and Milan had talks with his team, but didn’t make progress.

He moved to the Premier League when the London club initially signed him on loan from Lyon in 2020. A year later, the defender joined Crystal Palace on a permanent transfer and returned to Fulham last summer.

Fikayo Tomori and Strahinja Pavlović had opportunities to leave in the winter market but ended up staying at the San Siro. The report states one of them is expected to leave the Italian club in the next window.

The Rossoneri have to look for replacements and the Fulham player is their ‘new idea’ for next season. The outlet claims Milan can be an interesting option for the 28-year-old who has grown a lot in England.

MilanLive.it state the Denmark international could be ‘ready to make a leap to a big team’ at the end of this season. They had made contact with him in the past and the door to joining Milan could ‘reopen’ in the summer.

Andersen’s contract lasts until 2029, with an option for another year. This puts Fulham in a comfortable position and are unlikely to make it easy for Milan to snatch him.
