Earlier this week, we saw ESPN UK revealing that Fulham star Andreas Pereira had been drawing the interest from European sides such as Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain.
That was surprising news about the 27-year-old, who left Manchester United on a permanent move to the Whites last summer and is now having an impressive season at Marco Silva’s side.
It turns out that Fulham’s plans regarding Pereira are now reported by Brazilian outlet UOL, who features an interesting piece on the player.
Their story claims that the Whites’ board see the midfielder as the ‘next big sale’ the club will make, and ‘possibly the biggest in their history’.
Pereira was signed from Manchester United for £9.5m, and according to UOL, the idea from the Craven Cottage side is to sell him for more than Ryan Sessegnon, who left for Tottenham Hotspur in 2019 for £27m.
It’s said Fulham still haven’t sent a price for the sale, but expect approaches and bids worth over £35m to take place ‘very soon’.
The interested sides mentioned there are Juventus and Paris Saint Germain.
