It seems Fulham and Nottingham Forest could soon have a great new chance to sign Morato from Benfica.

Following their recent interest in the defender, Portuguese outlet Mais Futebol today shares a story claiming he’s set to be for sale this summer.

It’s said Benfica consider a couple of their players to be ‘negotiable’, and that includes Morato, who’s valued by the Eagles at between €20m and €25m.

The outlet recalls that Fulham and Nottingham Forest recently tried to sign him, putting up to €30m on the table, and the Lisbon side ‘closed the door’ at the time.

Now with the season coming to an end and Morato mostly staying on the bench, it seems they’re ready to give a discount and let him go.

The Brazilian is originally a central defender, but has been featuring as a left-back.

We should now wait and see if Fulham and Nottingham Forest are still interested in his signing, though, especially considering how he lost his place in the team in the past couple of months.
