Fulham are set to continue with their pursuit for Fluminense midfielder André, according to reports from Brazil.
Outlet Globo Esporte today features a story claiming that despite the end of the European winter window, the chase for the player should continue.
Fulham are taken as the most interested club in the midfielder, since they offered €20m to sign him in January, and Fluminense claimed he’s not for sale.
Globo Esporte then mentions that clubs from the Netherlands, France, Spain and Portugal have ‘also shown interest’ in André, willing to sign him in the summer window.
And Fulham are actually said to be among them, as Marco Silva’s side do ‘not give up’ on the player and are keeping him on their ‘radar’ for a transfer in the middle of the year, especially because the Financial Fair Play won’t stop them from making ‘big investments’ by then.
With still a few months to ago, Globo Esporte don’t say how much Fluminense will be demanding to sell André.
That should all depend on how well the player does at the start of the Brazilian season.
