Two days ago, we covered claims from Turkey that Fulham chief scout Brian Talbot has opened official talks with Beşiktaş over signing Semih Kılıçsoy this summer.
It was also said the Premier League side are ready to make a €20m offer for the forward.
Sabah now pick up on that and then claim Fulham have approached the Black Eagles to table their first bid of €20m.
The Turkey international managed 12 goals and three assists from 35 games last season, of which a majority of those goals were scored in this calendar year. Back in January, the Istanbul club tied him down to a new contract until 2028.
It’s claimed the Beşiktaş management believe Fulham’s offer to be too low, and therefore, rejected it.
Transfermarkt values the player at €12m, but the report says the Turkish club value the young star at a much higher price. They aren’t willing to let him leave in this window for a fee less than €30m.
Marco Silva’s side have to improve their offer by at least €10m to sign Kılıçsoy, but Sabah make no mention whether Fulham intend to return with a new bid.
