As the negotiations between Bayern Munich and Fulham for the transfer of João Palhinha carry on with full force, the German media is bringing very interesting updates about it.

The latest information comes from Sport1 journalist Patrick Berger. On Twitter, he claims that a £47m offer was turned down by Marco Silva’s side.

Fulham reportedly want at least £60m, so Bayern must improve their efforts a little. What the Bundesliga giants have on their side is that Palhinha himself wants the move.

Berger highlights that the negotiations are ‘ongoing’, with the German club not giving up yet.

Over in London, it seems Fulham know they may lose Palhinha, because according to a fresh report from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, the Whites are lining up a potential replacement.

It’s claimed that the London side are eyeing Yann M’Vila, who’s a free agent, having ‘checked’ his name and have made him a ‘priority’.

There’s no information on how advanced this pursuit is, with Aouna just highlighting that the player is also a target for Olympique Marseille as well.

However, that attempt completely depends on how the talks with Bayern for Palhinha will go, who himself, according to another tweet from Aouna, firmly believes he will be moving to Germany and has already told his Fulham teammates as much.
