Fulham appear to be pulling away from a deal for Fiorentina defender Igor as they prefer a deal for AS Roma’s Roger Ibañez.
That’s according to Firenze Viola, who say that the track which had been leading Igor to the Premier League is ‘cooling down’ for now.
They explain that Fulham have ‘long been interested’ in a deal for the Brazilian defender and appeared to be moving for him as a potential replacement for Tosin Adarabioyo, who looks set to leave Craven Cottage this summer.
However, a deal is not advancing at this moment in time and that is because, according to the website’s information, Fulham are instead ‘turning’ to Roma’s Ibañez instead.
That means Igor has been cast to one side for the time being, although he is still likely to be on the move as he has ‘many options’ in other leagues, with some of them ready to ‘take decisive steps’ for him.
Fulham do not appear to be one of them after all, instead turning their attention to the Brazilian’s compatriot to bolster Marco Silva’s squad.
