According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fulham have stepped up their pursuit for Fenerbahce defender Jayden Oosterwolde.

The Premier League side have been repeatedly linked with the Dutchman in recent weeks following reports of talks with the Super Lig side.

Sabah have today reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Oosterwolde, and they say Fulham have tabled an improved offer for the player.

It’s claimed the west London club have increased their offer from €18m to €22m as they look to get a deal done this summer. The Turkish media outlet also report Fener sporting director Mario Branco has been in constant contact with Fulham with the hope of finding an agreement.

The Istanbul club are still demanding €30m for the Dutchman, which sounds ambitious. Fulham should expect to face competition to sign the central defender with claims Napoli are also in the race.

He made 39 appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring two goals. The 23-year-old is contracted to the Yellow Canaries until June 2027.
