Fulham are ‘closely monitoring’ the developing of Hannover 96 youngster Nicolò Tresoldi as he establishes himself in the 2. Bundesliga.
That’s according to BILD, who say Fulham may be one of several sides keeping a close eye on the upcoming clash with SV Elversborg because of the striker.
They explain that Tresoldi is currently fighting for a regular place with the German club after getting back into ‘top shape’ following a ‘persistent illness’.
He’s already been backed for a bright future in the game and Fulham, alongside Inter Milan, are closely monitoring the German U21’s development.
Concrete discussions about a move have not yet taken place with any interested party but ‘things can always change’ in that department.
They would have to convince Tresoldi into the move, though, because he feels very comfortable in and around Hannover, where he gets regular playing time, recognition and peace to continue his development as he wishes.
All of those are ingredients for a promising career and he is not all that keen to jump ship, even if he could fit in at Inter Milan comfortably.
Thus, he’s a name to keep an eye on for the time being, something Fulham certainly seem to be doing.
