Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion are among the clubs to have Lille’s Timothy Weah on their transfer agenda.
The forward missed the start of this season due to an injury and found it hard after that to have more playing time under Paulo Fonseca.
Operating mainly on the right wing, he made 10 appearances in all competitions, which includes only three starts.
However, the 22-year-old impressed for the USA at the World Cup, where he scored against Wales. This helped draw attention from Fulham, Brighton and a few other clubs.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who explain Marco Silva’s side and the Seagulls are closely following the USA international.
It’s said the attacker has a good rating in England where clubs like Fulham and Roberto De Zerbi’s side are ‘looking for’ a wide forward in January.
Therefore, the two Premier League clubs, along with Sevilla, have been seriously looking at his profile.
Lille, for now, have not received any offers from the aforementioned clubs. Weah has a deal until 2024 and is valued at ‘around €15m’. It remains to be seen what the French club plan to do if there is an offer for the American.
