Fulham, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea are in the picture to sign SC Braga’s Roger Fernandes, according to Thursday’s edition of O Jogo.

His future is ‘being designed for England’. The 19-year-old received approaches in January and despite suffering an injury earlier this month, the report says the ‘English interest remains firm’ and ‘won’t diminish’ at the end of the season.

Fulham, Brighton and Chelsea are mentioned as club who presented offers in January, and O Jogo provide the latest on Roger’s situation.

The youngster has mainly operated as a right winger and also used as right and left wing-back this season, managing five goals and five assists from 44 games.

O Jogo state Fulham, Brighton and Chelsea are among several Premier League clubs that ‘haven’t lost sight of him’.

Braga president António Salvador valued at the youngster at €20m in January, when the Premier League trio presented offers. He had warned them Roger would cost more in the summer window.

O Jogo claim the president won’t sell him for €20m and is now asking for €30m for Roger, who has a €40m release clause.

The report mainly focuses on Manchester United trying to make an approach for him after missing out on Sporting’s Geovany Quenda to Chelsea. It wouldn’t make sense, at least for the Blues, to now pursue Roger.

Braga and his agent seem to be using Fulham, Brighton, Chelsea and other clubs to hype Roger beyond his current value.
