Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio today shares some news on Fulham’s attempt to sign Juventus fullback Luca Pellegrini.
According to his report, the Whites aren’t the only club in the race for the 25-year-old, since the likes of OGC Nice and Lazio are also interested.
Fulham seem to have a bit of an advantage as they already have an agreement with the player over a move to Craven Cottage.
Nice, meanwhile, are said to have a deal with Juventus, and should now work to convince Pellegrini.
It’s Lazio who seem to stand behind in the race for now. They had him on loan, but seem to have made no big efforts for the permanent move, as their interest is claimed to be on ‘stand-by’ for now.
Di Marzio just doesn’t make it clear how much the agreement between Nice and Juventus is worth, as matching that offer is all that Fulham may need to win the battle for the signing.
Marco Silva’s side are said to be keen on Pellegrini as an alternative to Fodé Ballo-Touré, on whom they missed out.
