Saturday’s edition of O Jogo has a little mention of Wolves on the front page, and it states the Premier League club are moving for a Vitória de Guimarães player.

The man involved is Manu Silva. A defensive midfielder, Manu moved from Feirense in 2023 and has gone on to be an important player for his current club.

He’s played 28 matches so far this season and despite the 23-year-old doing so as a defensive midfielder he’s found the back of the net four times and added two assists.

O Jogo report Wolves are on the ‘attack’ for Manu and are willing to pay €10m for the player. Mexico’s Tigres have already been keen this month but Manu wasn’t keen on the idea of a move to that league.

Wolves is obviously a much more attractive proposition, especially given the well trodden route of Liga Portugal to Molineux.

Certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming days, and a typical Wolves looking transfer.
