Destiny Udogie was one of the players Tottenham Hotspur signed in the summer transfer window.

The north London club took the left-back from Udinese and immediately loaned him back to the Serie A side for this season.

The 19-year-old’s immediate focus is to finish his loan spell with the Serie A side, where, operating as a left wing-back, he has scored two goals and registered one assist from 11 league games this season.

After his last outing for Udinese against US Cremonese on Sunday, Sky Italia had a chat with the Tottenham owned player.

Ahead of his move to the Premier League side in 2023, Udogie was asked whether he is thinking about Spurs.

Responding to that, Udogie said, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb: “Now I’m here at Udinese, I’m focused. From next year I’ll think about Tottenham. I know it’s the most difficult, beautiful and intense league. I follow the team, to see how they play and what players there are.”

Earlier this month, the Italy U21 international had stressed that he is ready to play for Tottenham, while he also admitted he has not heard from Antonio Conte, meaning it’s clear both Udogie and the ex-Chelsea manager have their focus on Udinese and Spurs respectively.
