Thomas Frank is ‘close to being fired’ at Tottenham as fans start to turn against the former Brentford boss.

That’s according to Danish pundit Niels Christian Frederiksen, via PL Bold. He believes that Frank is ‘in great danger’ at Tottenham at this moment in time.

Pressure has been growing on the Tottenham manager after picking up just four points in their last seven games. That’s left Tottenham in 11th in the Premier League.

While away form has been outstanding, including a late point against Newcastle on Tuesday, Tottenham’s home form has been disastrous. Indeed, Tottenham top the away form table but sit 19th in the home table. They’ve only picked up five points from seven games to date. Only Wolves are worse at hoe so far.

That has led to pressure growing on Frank, with some fans, particularly those who regular attend home games, questioning whether he is the right man for the job.

A big game against his former club, Brentford, awaits at the weekend. And Frederiksen worries that if there’s not a major change in that game, Frank could be out of a job by Monday.

“If the picture hasn’t changed or something has happened that makes us all believe that this is heading in a better direction, then I’m afraid that his job may be up for serious reflection next Monday,” he said.
