Andreas Pereira has been linked with a multitude of clubs around the world over the past year, with nearly all of the reports originating in Brazil and coming from pretty decent sources.
Given stories around the midfielder in the past it doesn’t take a great leap to believe it’s been his camp pushing claims.
Friday brings a fresh report from Globo Esporte, and they’re again talking up a possible move to Brazil.
It’s reported Fulham and Palmeiras have set a date of January 6th to have talks about the player potentially moving to the Brazilian club.
Nothing much has changed, according to the report, since Palmeiras offered €20m plus bonuses for Andreas. Fulham have wanted time to think, and that’s taken them to the January 6th date.
The 29-year-old is said to have given his consent to the transfer and has authorised his camp to negotiate the move on his behalf.
Fulham aren’t presented as being quite as keen.
Marco Silva’s squad is carrying several injuries at the moment and that’s one reason they’re thinking twice.
Palmeiras’ hope is that Andreas’ desire for the move can push things over the line.
