Jefferson Lerma is set to join Crystal Palace after leaving AFC Bournemouth.
Last month, the Cherries confirmed the 28-year-old will leave the Vitality Stadium when his deal there expires on June 30th. He’s been linked to a few clubs in England and across Europe, but his future is said to be with the Eagles.
That’s according to Fussball Transfers, who state the defensive midfielder has ‘signed a contract’ with Crystal Palace.
It’s further claimed the ‘official announcement’ of his transfer to Selhurst Park should be confirmed at the latest by this weekend. There were rumours of interest from Fenerbahçe, but the outlet states there was no concrete offer from the Turkish club.
FT’s report was covered by journalist Dominik Schneider, who took to Twitter to provide additional updates on this case. He states the Colombia international has penned a three-year deal with Crystal Palace, with an option for another year.
