Leonardo Jardim is still without a job and recently turned down the opportunity to manage Al Nasr.
At the time, around a week ago, it was reported in Portugal that the former AS Monaco manager had other options to study. It’s been stated several times that a move to the Premier League is a possibility, and France’s Le10 Sport push Leicester City forward again on Friday.
It’s claimed the Foxes continue to consider appointing Jardim, even if not immediately.
Leicester’s interest would ‘at the least’ be in view of next season, which doesn’t say a great deal about Claude Puel’s long term future at the club.
The former Premier League champions are described as being ‘always on the lookout’ for Jardim, despite Puel’s future not being directly under threat right now.
From Jardim’s perspective, it’s explained the manager is eager to have a go in the Premier League, and his entourage are ‘very attentive to the English market’.
A longer term plan for Leicester City, and not a bad just-in-case option.
