Everton and Newcastle United are keen on signing Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe, report L’Equipe. The 21-year-old is currently playing at the AFCON and could leave the club in January, with interest in France and England.
SCO Angers hope to get €10m for Pepe, and Everton and Newcastle United could face competition for his signature. Whilst the two English clubs have been linked a few times in the past with Pepe, Liverpool are now being brought into the picture.
Everton could possibly be looking for a wide attacker after the departure of Gerard Deulofeu to AC Milan, whilst Newcastle United could look to bring in players to help him their promotion bid.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp could conceivably be looking for strength in depth, and all three clubs will be impressed at hoe Pepe is establishing himself as one Lifue 1’s most promising youngsters.
Pepe has been linked with several clubs in France, but the interest of Everton and Newcastle always looked attractive, and Liverpool will only add to that.
L’Equipe believe Angers are now anticipating talks between Pepe and the interested clubs.
