According to Swedish newspaper Expressen, Brighton and Hove Albion have agreed on a deal to sign Brommapojkarna attacker Viktor Gyokeres.

Despite the Swedish transfer window closing, clubs can still sell to foreign sides and it seems Brighton have sealed a deal for Gyokeres just eight days before the Premier League deadline.

Expression today report Gyokeres has agreed personal terms with Brighton, which will tie him to the Premier League side on a long-term contract.

Brommapojkarna have also agreed on the sale of the 19 year old, with reports Brighton will pay 10m Swedish Krona for the youngster – which equates to around £960k.

It’s now expected the forward will undergo a medical before he signs a contract with Brighton. The English side have reportedly fought off competition from Allsvenskan clubs Hammarby, Djurgården, AIK, IFK Norrköping and IFK Göteborg to land the player.

Gyokeres came through the Brommapojkarna academy, and has gone to play nearly thirty games for the senior team. The young attacker has also been capped at youth level for his country.
