Former Inter Milan director Ernesto Paolillo has given an interview to Calcio Mercato on Tuesday and had a few words about Manchester United manager José Mourinho.
They worked together during the 2009/10 season, when the Italian club won the treble under the Portuguese manager. The success left a mark on many at the club, and Paolillo was one.
“To Mourinho I wish great successes,” Paolillo told Calcio Mercato.
“He’s a serious professional, he’s a professional who joined an Inter who were champions, but weren’t very organised and he was able to organise it in such a way as to win everything.”
“He proves to be a great professional and I hope he will win everything at Manchester as well.”
José Mourinho spent two years at Inter. He joined the club in May 2008, and quickly set out on a road to great success. After winning the treble in his second season, Mourinho left the club in 2010 to join Real Madrid.
