It seems Fulham fans don’t need to worry about manager Marco Silva potentially leaving for the Middle East.

As Portuguese newspaper Record today features a story about Bernardo Silva’s potential move to Al Hilal, they also add some information on the Whites’ boss and his rejection of that possibility.

According to the newspaper, Marco Silva is wanted by the Saudi club and was approached by them. The Fulham manager, however, wasn’t ‘particularly interested’ in making that kind of move. So he’s not set to join the likes of Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly in Riyadh.

The coach is said to prioritise the sporting project and is said to be preparing for another full season in charge of the Whites.

Signed by Fulham in the summer of 2021, Marco Silva first achieved promotion to the Premier League, and in his first season in the top flight, did an impressive job by finishing the campaign in 10th place. Now it seems he’s looking for more, and the millions from Saudi Arabia ‘do not seduce’ him.
