On Tuesday night, several outlets from the Brazilian media confirmed São Paulo’s deal with Crystal Palace for the transfer of goalkeeper Lucas Perri.
Although all the reports say the player is joining the London side on a loan deal until the end of the season with a option of a permanent transfer included, there are a few disagreements on how much he’ll cost.
The latest claim is made by newspaper Agora, with information from UOL, which was published on Wednesday morning. They say Crystal Palace would pay between €4.5m and €7m for the Perri, with the difference depending on performance bonuses.
That probably means that Palace’s option to sign the player in June would be of €4.5m, with the other part depending on his performances at the club. São Paulo should also have 20% of a future sale.
Also on Tuesday night, outlet Terra has claimed that clubs are only waiting for Perri’s medical before making the transfer official. He should be flying to London today.
