Gazzetta dello Sport have gone full into details as AC Milan get ready to welcome Gerard Deulofeu on loan from Everton. The Italian newspaper report Deulofeu will arrive in Italy at 19:40 on Sunday evening, ahead of completing his transfer from Everton.
Deulofeu is jetting into Milan’s Malpensa airport, and he’ll have a night of rest before going through his medical tests on Monday. Should all go well, and there’s not expected to be any problems, Deulofeu will officially complete his move to Milan tomorrow.
Milan are paying €750k for the loan, €250k higher than original €500k, that may well be because it’s a dry loan, with no clauses to make it permanent, and Everton had wanted more commitment from Milan.
Milan announced the move on Friday, but had to backtrack with Everton annoyed by the deal being made public when there were still loose ends to tie up. Despite the higher fee, Milan feel they’ve got a bargain and it will be interesting to see what happens in the summer if the Spaniard manages to impress in Italy.
