The Turkish media continue to be optimistic on Galatasaray’s chances of signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer market.
For weeks there’s been various claims, often accompanied by unrealistic potential offers which are well below what a likely asking price would be.
Given the 26-year-old has a Manchester United contract expiring in June 2025, there’s been some confidence in Turkey that Galatasaray or another big Super Lig club can secure a transfer this summer.
Monday’s edition of Sabah newspaper reports Wan-Bissaka is ‘first choice’ and ‘at the top of the list’ for the Istanbul club.
A potential transfer fee is put at €20m, but Gala – ever optimistic – are said to be expecting that figure to drop in the coming weeks.
Perhaps that is optimism verging on delusion, because Manchester Untied could surely get €20m from elsewhere without having to crumble their demands.
Even if he does leave, the chance to stay in the Premier League will likely be there and provide a chance for a reasonable fee for the Red Devils, and a good salary for the player.
