Fulham are in the picture to sign Lille’s Alan Virginius in the winter market, according to a report from France.

The 20-year-old has made 22 appearances since he joined the Ligue 1 side from Sochaux in 2022. Although the winger has only one goal to his name, he has managed to please the London club.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who state that Fulham manager Marco Silva ‘particularly appreciates’ the player’s profile.

The France U20 international has been restricted to 149 minutes of action from six games this season. Despite the limited game time, the website states he’s very popular in the Premier League.

Fulham’s interest in the young attacker isn’t new as they were following him before he joined Lille. It’s claimed they could even make an attempt to sign him in the January market.

Foot Mercato add the operation seems ‘feasible’ for Fulham, also because Virginius should leave the French club in the next window.

He has a deal lasting until 2027 and the report makes no mention of the offer Fulham could table or the fee needed to convince Lille to sanction Virginius’ sale.
