Brighton and Hove Albion may need to move quickly if they want a reunion with Graham Potter, as Feyenoord also have him on their list of options.
That’s according 1908.nl, who say positive conversations with Potter have already been held as the Dutch club search for a replacement for Arne Slot.
They report that Feyenoord are currently focused on Sparta Prague manager Brian Priske but while they are 99% of the way there with the manager, matters still need to be worked out with the Czech club, who don’t want to cooperate.
If a deal cannot be worked out, that could push the Dutch club back towards Graham Potter, who they have already spoken with.
They explain that the former Chelsea boss is on the shortlist of coaches but has also been linked with a return to Brighton to replace Roberto De Zerbi. The website, though, says that sources at Brighton are insisting there won’t be reunion.
Feyenoord have already spoken ‘exploratorily’ with Potter but are yet to make an offer to him at this moment in time.
However, those discussions were positive and ‘there is some feasibility’ to the idea of him taking charge at Feyenoord and replacing Arne Slot following his move to Liverpool.
