Rodrigo Mora has impressed for Porto this season and has already attracted attention from Manchester United.
The 17-year-old has played 16 league games and has five goals and three assists. He’s also played five times in the Europa League earlier in the season.
OJogo have looked at the attacking midfielder’s situation and they state the youngster’s current release clause stands at €45m. But his performances have convinced Porto in making attempts to bring the clause up to between €80m and €100m.
They are aware Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are circling around Mora and they want to ‘scare’ interested parties by increasing their valuation for the talent.
The report mentions there is a clause in the Portuguese’s current contract which will allow his release clause to increase to €67.5m, if he plays a certain number of games this season.
That can well happen when the season ends but Porto want to protect themselves further from potential moves from Manchester United.
Even if there is no obvious indication Ruben Amorim’s side can make an attempt in the summer, the Portuguese giants doesn’t want to take anything for granted.
