Leeds United are interested in Bruno Langa, according to claims from Portugal.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo reveals that the 25-year-old’s good season for Chaves has attracted the chase from several clubs.
It’s said that despite his struggle with injuries, Langa was able to come back at a high level at his club this season and is looking forward to ‘open doors’ for a move to a bigger side this summer.
But there’s no word on how much Chaves would demand for the Leeds target, who’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €700k.
O Jogo’s big focus in this story is about the interest from Benfica, since the Portuguese giants may be chasing a left-back due to the potential departure of Alejandro Grimaldo from Lisbon at the end of the season.
It’s not only the competition from the Eagles that Leeds should be concerned about, because according to the story, the likes of Lille and Nottingham Forest are said to be keeping an eye on the player as well.
Langa is said to see the interest from Benfica as ‘motivating’, but he’s also said to consider the ‘approaches and exploratory contacts’ from those English and French clubs.
