Middlesbrough star Emmanuel Latte Lath could leave the Riverside Stadium in the winter market.

That’s according to the striker’s agent, Matthias Veneroso, and he mentioned this during a chat with TuttoMercatoWeb.

Emmanuel Latte Lath has impressed for Middlesbrough this season, managing eight goals and two assists from 21 Championship matches.

On November 25th, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio stated West Ham United had sent a scout to watch the 25-year-old live in action against Oxford United. He also reported the player is ready to leave Michael Carrick’s side in January.

The Ivory Coast international’s agent has now stated he expects developments around the striker’s future at Boro.

“He’s back to scoring. Eight goals in the first part of the championship and we expect something to happen in January. He is a striker, and strikers are always the subject of attention in the January transfer window,” he said.

This should please the Hammers, provided they want to secure the frontman’s services in January.

Emmanuel Latte Lath joined Middlesbrough from Atalanta in August 2023 and signed a deal until 2027, with an option for another year. His representative hasn’t talked about potential destinations he could move to in the next window.

It’s to be noted that back in May, Veneroso talked about the possibility of his client leaving the English club in the summer transfer window, but no deal took shape.
