Leicester City were linked with a move for Lazio winger Loum Tchaouna earlier today, with the Italian media talking about a possible deadline exit.

The 21-year-old’s future at the Rome club is uncertain and there’s been links with Burnley and PSV Eindhoven as well.

Interest from Leicester City has now been confirmed, even if the move has been described as a complicated one to complete. The player’s entourage has spoken to Sport Witness exclusively about the winger, who has played 24 times in all competitions this season and has one goal to his name.

A member of the player’s entourage told Sport Witness: “Yes, Leicester City want to sign him. But it will be difficult.”

Time is running out for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side to make a move and seal a transfer for Tchaouna, with the player’s entourage previously indicating that he is also open to staying at Lazio this month.

The Frenchman joined the Serie A side from Salernitana in the summer transfer window and is showing signs of impressing. The next few hours will be vital to deciding his future.
