Exciting forward has ‘refused to join Crystal Palace’ – ‘Will not move this summer’ despite Eagles offer

Earlier on Tuesday, we covered that Crystal Palace had made a last ditch effort to sign Jéremie Boga from Sassuolo.

It was explained an offer had arrived from the Eagles for the winger, as Patrick Vieira looks to add some flair to his new team.

However, it appears that Boga wasn’t interested, as Foot Mercato journalist Sébastien Nonda is claiming the exciting forward ‘will not move this summer’.

He then goes on to explain that Atalanta, who were seriously interested, ‘didn’t manage to find an agreement over a transfer’ for the Ivory Coast international, while the player ‘refused to join Crystal Palace’.

That will comes as a blow to Vieira and co., as well as for the Selhurst Park faithful, as the arrival of a player of Boga’s ilk would have been a great sign of intent by the club, as he has the ability to get backsides off seats with his pace and dribbling ability.
