Earlier this month, Carlos Soler stated he’s enjoying his time with West Ham United after a slow start in the Premier League.

The midfielder joined the Hammers on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day and has made 15 appearances for West Ham.

Julen Lopetegui has started Soler regularly in the league since last month’s international break.

Last week, we covered claims from France which stated West Ham have started talks with the Ligue 1 side for the 27-year-old. It was also said the London club are thrilled with his commitment.

Le Parisien talks about West Ham contacting Luis Enrique’s side for Soler when reviewing the players that PSG sent out on loan.

With regards to Soler, it’s claimed the English club want to keep him and they can do it by exercising the €20m buying option.

The Paris club will not only be able to cash in from his sale to West Ham but also make profit in the process.

The report states this is ‘excellent news’ for PSG after they paid €17m plus bonuses to purchase the player from Valencia in 2022.
