Víctor Camarasa’s decision to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan from Real Betis hasn’t paid off as he has made only two appearances for the Eagles this term.
The midfielder hasn’t featured for Roy Hodgson’s side in any competitions since September.
On January 10th, we carried a report from Mundo Deportivo, who explained Betis are unhappy with the 25-year-old’s situation at Selhurst Park. The report also stressed his temporary stay at Palace could be cut short this month.
Saturday’s edition of the same newspaper claims the player has received several proposals to change clubs in the winter market. However, Camarasa wants to join Alavés.
The two Spanish sides and the former Cardiff City loanee have already negotiated a deal that will see the latter spend the remainder of the season on loan at Alavés.
Mundo, however, states, ‘everything’s pending from Crystal Palace’ and adds the Premier League side must ‘regularise the terms of payment’ with Betis.
Having not featured for months, it makes sense for Palace to end their relationship with Camarasa in January.
