Following his good performances at the World Cup, Celtic’s Josip Juranovic caught the attention of quite a few clubs.
The player, currently managed by Ange Postecoglou at Parkhead, has been linked with moves to some of the big clubs in the Premier League, but also to a few sides in Serie A.
Among those has been Monza, promoted last season and currently 15th with 18 points from their first 17 games, with ir previously said that they see the Celtic man as the ideal reinforcement in January.
However, the price set by the Scottish club seems to be causing quite a few problems, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Italian journalist, giving an update on quite a few Italian clubs, relayed by Tutto Cagliari, wrote that ‘everything is at a standstill’ for Juranovic to Monza.
Celtic are said to want €8m for the player, and it could be that Torino, where Croatian compatriots Nikola Vlasic and manager Ivan Juric are, come forward.
We’ll have to wait and see, but, for now, Juranovic to Monza isn’t moving along.
