With Romelu Lukaku now once again a Chelsea player, a striker exodus is taking place at Chelsea.

Tammy Abraham is heading to AS Roma, where he will play under the order of former Blues boss José Mourinho, and if that wasn’t enough, Michy Batshuayi is now heading to Turkey.

The Belgian, who never managed to impose himself as a regular at Stamford Bridge following his big move from Marseille, is, according to Sacha Tavolieri, on his way to Besiktas.

He explains ‘everything is OK’ for the transfer to go through, which will be a ‘loan without an option to buy’.

In order to get the transfer over the line, the player ‘should extend his Chelsea contract until 2023’, with the official announcement ‘expected in the next 48 hours’.

It’s clear that Batshuayi’s future at Chelsea is pretty much non-existent, having spent the vast majority of the last few seasons on loan at various clubs, such as Crystal Palace, Valencia and Borussia Dortmund.

Another one now looms in hope of finding the form that once made him one of the more wanted young strikers in Europe.
