If, for some reason, you don’t believe Sky Sports News regarding Felipe Anderson and West Ham, then you’ll be glad to know that the Italian media are also reporting that the Brazilian is close to a move to London Stadium.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Hammers and Lazio agreed on a €38m + €5m deal for the forward, of which 25% of the profit made will be going to Santos in Brazil, as well as 3% of the entire fee.
Over at Il Tempo, the fee is reported to be at €31m deal with bonuses taking the fee to €40m, and the final details of the transfer were sorted out on Wednesday.
Il Messaggero have yet another amount, claiming the transfer was finalised at €31m plus €6m in bonuses, which would fall well short of the valuation Claudio Lotito had in place for his winger earlier on in the transfer window.
Felipe Anderson was present at Lazio’s training on Wednesday, but didn’t train, instead saying goodbye to his teammates and had a brief chat with Simone Inzaghi.
He is expected to be in London today, as the Serie A side start looking for his replacement.
Everyone is in agreement, and this one appears to finally be over. Thank God for that.
